Is my car safe to drive after an accident?
If the vehicle is leaking fluid, pulling to one side, showing warning lights, or has damage near a wheel or the windshield, do not drive it. Call us and we will arrange to have it brought in. A vehicle that looks drivable can still have compromised structure or a disabled safety system.
What happens if hidden damage is found after the repair starts?
That is normal and it is called a supplement. We photograph and document the additional damage, submit it to your insurer, and wait for approval before doing that work. It can extend the timeline, and we tell you as soon as it happens rather than at pickup.
What does it mean if my vehicle is a total loss?
An insurer declares a total loss when the repair cost approaches a set percentage of the vehicle’s actual cash value. That threshold varies by insurer and by state. If your vehicle is heading that direction we will tell you early, so you are not waiting on a repair that is not going to happen.
Will the accident show up on a vehicle history report?
A repair itself is not automatically reported. Insurance claims and police reports are what typically appear on services like Carfax. A properly documented, high-quality repair is what protects your resale value.
